What is Self Awareness?
Self Awareness is easy-to-use skills to be a master of yourself, then your life and when applied with various exercises that I can help teach you, be the extremely powerful set of tools to change your false, fear based core structure of beliefs and agreements that keep you in suffering. All of your attitude, emotions and thinking stems from your core beliefs. If you want to change the way you think and feel, changing your core beliefs is the answer. While this is simple to see, it usually very difficult because of the faith a person puts into these beliefs over their life. What you believe becomes your reality. If you believe that everyone hates you, then thy will be done. Self Awareness helps you to change your perception of events which leads to you dissolving those core beliefs which leads to you feeling good again and living the life that you want based in truth, happiness and love.  

 

Anyone can learn Self Awarenes and if they put their intent, determination and willpower into doing so. Intent to learn, to hold yourself responsible for creating all your suffering as well as all your happiness is 75% of the process.

 

Self Awareness is the ability to observe your mind, observe your beliefs and observe your point of view on everything in life, including your relationships with other people, your personality and mainly yourself through a "witness" or observer point of view. It is also the best set of tools that I know on how to go into your past to find those false, core beliefs and agreements that you probably don’t realize you made that cause you suffering.

 

When you shift your point of view to the one doing the watching, the witness, the observer, you are no longer the one experiencing the events. You can't be because you are now the awareness, the consciousness that is doing the watching of your body, your mind, your beliefs. You can't be both at the same. You can't actually shift this point of view cognitively, it just naturally happens. It's an exhilarating experience and beginning to relief for your suffering.


 

Self Awareness helps you to set aside your fears by becoming an observer of your mind
If we are expecting to experience a different emotional we have to keep trying a different approach until we find what works for us. You've probably heard that insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting to get a different result. If we want to change the way we feel, we must take common sense and see it begins by changing the way we think and eliminate those self limiting beliefs based in fear.

 

Just like anything in life, practice and repetition makes the master. And, the more effort you put into learning then mastering Self Awareness, the quicker you will regain faith from those energy draining false beliefs to reinvest in healthy, true beliefs that put aside fear and create happiness.

By becoming an observer, you set aside your fears because you can more clearly see the beliefs and agreements you've made that produce that fear because you are watching the person in the story, (you, the main character) you are no longer the one in the story.

 

You're now able to see a different point of view that allows you to no longer be afraid to express love, no longer feel unworthy to love, or jealous or resentful that actually leads not wanting to love. By expressing love, you naturally feel good and create your own happiness. With Self Awareness and other teachings that provide insight on why you reject yourself, you begin to love yourself more and more and naturally love others and life until you get to the point of opening your spiritual eyes and experience enlightenment.


 

 A spiritual component helps you truly understand why you have your core, false fear based beliefs about life, mainly yourself

For so many years, I attended talk and other types of therapy that would suggest or present me with a new belief that was thought to be more healthy than the ones I had that kept me unhappy.


While it is true that the new belief IE it is not other people's love that makes me happy would lead to happiness, for me after nearly 7 years, I could not just "change" that belief structure of thinking I needed to impress others to accept myself, to dissolve that paralyzing anxiety of socializing without
truly understanding why I created those fear based beliefs. Just giving me another way of thinking did not work because I had all my faith in why I wasn't good enough, why I was inadequate, why I needed (and wanted) to isolate. A Spiritual component, meaning perspectives on love, compassion, gratitude, things therapists refused to discuss with me, I was unable to really "believe" I was beautiful, good enough and not inferior, to no longer be afraid of what others thought of me.

 

With Self Awareness, I was able to step out of my story of fear, rejection and misery, to begin to see why I reacted the way I did. By detaching from that negative image I had of myself, I was able to more closely examine why I thought and felt with more preciseness than before. This naturally lead to me laughing at myself with respect for thinking the way I did for so many years because I saw they were lies and understood why I agreed to believe them. No other therapy or medication set me free like this because they did not help me get to the root of my problems. And my problems were just as severe as any, so please do not think this is just for someone that is experiences minor depression or anxiety.

While my heart goes out to you for the suffering you are in, you must realize by putting down your foot and seeing that you can make excuses as to why you think you are hopeless are not good enough to try anything more after you feel everything else has failed, or you can choose not to identify with your feelings as a way to live and actively with your intent to begin to do something different! 

After a few weeks of practicing the different exercises to deepen my awareness, I began to feel maybe much like Edison felt when he finally got the light bulb to work. I had tried for so long to be happy until I got to the point that I had just been seeking help to appease other people. Then, once I found these skills and concepts, I chose to put everything I had into learning them and change slowly began to happen.
